SchoolGrid is proud to announce that Adam Curtis, the youngest member of LACA – The School Food People, has been honoured with the Young Voice of School Food Award at the LACA Yorkshire and Humber Awards.
This award recognises Adam’s dedication, passion, and growing influence in the school food sector. As a committed advocate for quality and innovation in school meals, Adam has made a significant impact, notably as a young judge for the LACA Grab ‘N’ Go Challenge at the LACA Main Event, where for the past two years he has helped to shine a spotlight on creative and nutritious food solutions for schools.
“I’m incredibly grateful to be recognised by LACA in this way,” said Adam. “It’s an honour to be part of an organisation that is shaping the future of school food across the UK, and I’m excited to continue contributing to its mission.”
Adam’s award not only celebrates his personal achievements but also highlights SchoolGrid’s continued commitment to supporting innovation and young voices in the education catering industry.

The award was one of 15 awards were presented to members of the LACA Yorkshire & Humber region at a glittering ceremony held in Hargate, Yorkshire.
